Rooted in the ancient rhythms of the stars and soil,
We’re building a place where…

Trades like blacksmithing, herbalism, and storytelling are sacred again

Education is cyclical, intuitive, embodied

Villagers and visitors live by the pulse of the seasons

Science bows to mystery, and the soul finally has a seat at the table
You’ve Found the Path Back Home.
Beyond the noise of the modern world lies a timeless place — a sanctuary where science meets soul, where healing and wonder walk hand in hand.

A Glimpse Through the Portal…

The Retreat Cluster
Nestled between whispering trees and moon-kissed meadows, the Retreat Cluster offers 3 to 5 cozy, storybook-style cottages — each crafted with hand-hewn wood, old-world charm, and a touch of enchantment. At the heart of the cluster sits Soulroot Hall, a warm and welcoming lodge where guests gather to share meals, circle around sacred fire, or simply rest in silence. Fairy lights weave through winding footpaths, hammocks sway beneath the stars, and a moon garden glows gently in the evening.

A sacred place to pause, soften, remember, and rise.

The Research Studio
Tucked into a quiet corner of the campus stands the Research Studio — a solar-powered yurt or greenhouse-like sanctuary where science and soul meet. Inside, sacred tools and modern technology harmonize: for studying plants, sound, brainwave states, and intuitive consciousness. This is a space for dreamers and data seekers alike — a place that opens portals not only in the mind, but for meaningful partnerships and future-funded research.

Where intuitive intelligence meets sacred science and innovation.

Amphitheater
At the edge of the village, where the trees part like velvet curtains, sits an open-air amphitheater built from stone and intention. Here, the community gathers — for solstice festivals, firelit storytelling, ancestral music, and sacred speech. It’s not just a stage — it’s a threshold for collective remembrance.

A place where the village gathers to witness story, truth, and celebration.

The Mystic School
Beyond the grove, nestled among tall trees and old stones, stands the Mystic School — a one-room sanctuary of sacred study and soul remembering. Within its walls, candlelight dances across shelves lined with journals, ritual tools, and teachings passed down through generations. Here, time bends. Students of all ages return to what they’ve always known: intuitive mastery, elemental wisdom, energy medicine, and the sacred sciences that awaken our dormant gifts.

A space to study the unseen, remember your essence, and awaken inner truth.

Youth Discovery Grove
At the sunniest curve of the land, laughter echoes from the Youth Discovery Grove — a magical nook designed for earth-based play, wonder, and intuitive learning. Children gather under whispering oaks, sculpting clay, tending herb beds, building forts from fallen limbs, and learning directly from the land itself. Inspired by Reggio Emilia, Waldorf, and ancestral pathways, this grove offers soul-led education rooted in rhythm, ritual, and deep connection.

Where children grow wild, wise, and wonderfully whole.

Apothecary & Garden
Along a curved stone path, the scent of lavender, sage, and lemon balm invites you closer. A cottage with herbs strung from the rafters and potions glowing in amber bottles welcomes all who seek healing. This is the Apothecary — part medicine hut, part sacred school. Outside, spiral gardens bloom in seasonal waves, tended by quiet hands and buzzing bees. Inside, ancestral knowledge meets modern alchemy.

A living sanctuary where Earth remembers how to heal you.

Trade Market & Cafe
Tucked near the edge of the green, handmade stalls curve around an open courtyard — the campus’s living marketplace. Each artisan brings their craft with care: blacksmiths shape tools by fire, herbalists offer tinctures and wild teas, weavers display sacred cloth, and storytellers call in the crowd with tales and laughter. More than a market, this is where sacred economy thrives — rooted in soul, earth, and the gift of one’s hands.

A soul-crafted circle of trade, skill, and slow living.

Temple of the Elements
Built open to the sky, the Temple rests on the ancient bones of the land — four directions marked by altars of stone, wood, flame, and water. Here, ceremonies unfold in rhythm with the moon and seasons. Offerings are placed. Prayers spoken. The unseen becomes felt. Whether in silence or celebration, the Temple is a place to align with Earth, Spirit, and your inner truth.

A sanctuary where Air, Fire, Water, Earth, and Ether meet — and you meet yourself.

The Labyrinth
Carved gently into the land like a spiral prayer, the labyrinth calls to those seeking clarity, release, or deeper remembrance. Lined with stones, herbs, and whispered offerings from those who walked before you, this sacred path invites stillness in motion. Each step is a letting go. Each turn a reweaving.

A sacred geometry for the soul — where every path leads home.

We are open!
Phase One

We’re honored to now gather at Maplewood Studios, a cozy and creative space nestled in the heart of Roanoke. This shared sanctuary offers a beautiful blend of warmth, artistry, and soul — the perfect container for our Women’s Circles and future community gatherings. While we continue to vision our long-term land and retreat space, Maplewood serves as our first open-door location, where transformation, connection, and intention can take root. We welcome you to step inside and make yourself at home.

Calling the Kindred
For Vision-Aligned Creators, Teachers, and Land Lovers
At Sacred Mountain Institute, we move with intention, integrity, and deep reverence for what we’re building. On these 15 sacred acres, we are weaving a living campus — one rooted in healing, wisdom, creativity, and community.

While the long-term vision is held by our family, we know that something this meaningful can only grow through aligned collaboration.

We are not seeking traditional investors or outside ownership. Instead, we welcome kindred co-creators, contributors, and land stewards — those who feel genuinely called to bring their gifts, energy, and resources into this evolving sanctuary in a way that honors the land and respects the soul of this place.

Whether you’re dreaming of hosting retreats, creating a glamping experience, sharing your healing arts, teaching ancient crafts, or co-developing sacred education or research — we are open to ideas that feel rooted, reciprocal, and alive.
We believe in sacred agreements, clear communication, and co-creation without control.
If that speaks to your soul, we’d love to begin a conversation.
